By downloading or using Trainer, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What Trainer is
Trainer is a wellness and physical activity tool with an artificial-intelligence-assisted trainer that, using the camera, observes your technique, counts repetitions and guides you during the session.
Trainer is not a medical device or a health service. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent diseases, and it does not replace the advice of a doctor, physiotherapist, nutritionist or other health professional.
2. Health, exercise and assumption of risk
- Consult a health professional before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition or an injury, are pregnant, or have doubts about your physical fitness.
- Exercise carries inherent risks of injury. You train at your own risk; stop if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.
- Body composition estimates and the coach's suggestions are for guidance only and may contain errors. Do not make medical decisions based on them.
3. Account requirements
- You must be 18 or older to use Trainer.
- You sign in with your Google or Apple account; you are responsible for keeping that account secure.
- The processing of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
4. Paid subscription (Premium)
Trainer offers an optional paid subscription (“Premium”). Premium features and the free-plan features may change; the essentials of the subscription:
- Purchase through Apple. The subscription is purchased inside the app via Apple's in-app purchase. Apple is the seller (merchant of record): it charges you, handles the payment and applies any applicable taxes. We do not process your card data.
- Price. The plans and their price are shown in the app before you confirm the purchase; for reference, US$12.99/month or US$89.99/year. The price may vary by country, by taxes and by changes we announce: the applicable price is the one shown on Apple's purchase screen.
- Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual), at the current price, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the next renewal. Apple charges the renewal to your account within the 24 hours before the end of the period.
- Management and cancellation. You can view, change or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device (App Store). Cancellation stops future renewals; Premium access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we do not process refunds directly.
- Promo codes. We may grant Premium access through a promo code, for the time the code indicates and at no charge. A code is not money, is not redeemable for money, may expire and may be revoked in the event of abusive use.
- Data processing. Managing the subscription involves processing purchase data through RevenueCat (United States), in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the app for unlawful purposes; upload third-party content without permission; attempt to breach, decompile or abuse the service or its limits; or impersonate another person. We may suspend access in the event of abusive use.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its content, its trademark and its code are the property of the Provider (Leonardo Sierra, the natural person who offers Trainer and who is the data controller under the Privacy Policy) or of the Provider's licensors. You retain ownership of the content you provide (for example, your photos); you grant us only the license necessary to provide the service to you (processing the session and the scan), in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party services
Trainer uses Google services (Firebase, Google Cloud, Gemini) to operate, and Apple and RevenueCat for the paid subscription (section 4). Their use is also subject to those providers' terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trainer is provided “as is”, without warranties of uninterrupted availability or of the accuracy of the estimates. The Provider shall not be liable for injuries, damages or losses arising from the use of the app or from decisions made based on its content, except where the law does not allow such liability to be excluded.
9. Changes and termination
We may modify or discontinue the app or these Terms; we will publish the current version with its date. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, with Bogotá D.C. as the agreed contractual domicile.
